"Silence Is Golden"
(RE: My Final Interview)

In recent years I've grown increasingly weary of words. I've been giving interviews for the last 25 or 30 years, more often than not answering the same questions over and over again, ad nauseum. As my disinterest in the same series of questions increases the answers to them inevitably become even less interesting, less articulate and less relevant. Since most of what I've said in the past is a matter of public record and can be accessed here at BoydRice.com by anyone with a computer, I have decided to participated in one final interview, after which I will leave any works I do to speak for themselves. I will continue to write articles and essays, but cease to answer any further questions.

Since by far the most interesting questions asked of me in the last five or ten years have come from those of you who've taken the time to write and ask something out of genuine curiosity, it is to you whom I turn to supply the queries in this final interview. If there's anything at all you'd like to ask that hasn't been previously addressed, drop me a post card or letter at:

P.O. Box 300081

Please limit your questions to one or two things and do not email them to BoydRice.com, as the administrator is already a very busy man, and has been given my blessing to delete personal messages to me without reading them. Nor should you attempt to contact me at my personal email address, as it has been inoperative for more than a year now.

I look forward to your questions and would like to thank those of you who participate in advance. Additional thanks goes out to all visitors to this site for your continued interest and/or support. As you may have noticed, I've taken the last year (or so) off, my first real vacation in three decades. Nonetheless, I've been working on a good number of things that are just now coming to fruition. All pertinent details will be made available here first. Stay tuned.

    Best regards,
